Hi all! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far!

There was some confusion regarding the Backerkit survey deadline so I wanted to clarify. I know the initial email sent out said a different date but this is not true which was a mistake on my end, I apologize! The deadline for the Backerkit survey is November 19th 2023 11:59PM EST. Same goes for the preorder store! You can adjust your order / add-on anytime until the 19th but afterwards you will not be able to make any changes regarding the order as production will happen immediately. You will still be able to adjust your shipping address anytime even after the survey is locked though. Your card will be charged for shipping + any add-ons you additionally purchased on November 20th.

For those who have not been able to find their survey please message me ASAP or email me at [email protected] so I can send you your survey. If you have pledged with your apple ID you should have received instructions on how to view your survey.

Black bag & handbag strap sample pics + Surveys in a week!

Hi everyone!! Hope everyone had a good week so far, I'm back with some updates on the black bag sample + Backerkit information!

BackerKit Surveys + Shipping Payment

Most payments should have been processed by now for all of you! For those who weren't able to pay in time and their pledges were dropped, you still have a chance to preorder them once I open my preorder store in a week or so. Preorder store will be open for around 2-3 weeks, and it won't have cover deals like the pledges, just individual item purchases. Backerkit surveys will go out in about a week from today. You are REQUIRED to fill out these surveys. You will be asked to pay for shipping and any extra add-ons you decide to purchase at the end of the survey. Surveys will be sent to emails you have connected with your Kickstarter account. Backers who signed in/paid with AppleID, please DM me with an alternative email address or you may not receive your survey. I will make another update once all the backerkit surveys go out!  

Black Bag Ita Bag

The sample came in yesterday so I got some quick pictures for you guys. The material and sizing are the same as the white ita bag, just in black! You will receive a backpack strap / over-the-shoulder strap for the ita bag. During surveys you will have the option to purchase the handbag strap option as an extra! It will be $3 USD each. Below is some sample picture / video: 

You might be wondering if there's handbag straps for the white ita bag - here it is! Some quick sample pictures / videos that I took with the handbag strap.

The big mom cover will be adjusted in height slightly so that there is more space for the ita window. The new sample looks like this: 

For Red Ship, the skull in the smaller flag will have the red mark as the bigger one as well. I forgot to adjust that initially but the final look will have both skulls with the red scars.

Thank you SO SO much to all 851 of you for backing my campaign! This is my very first kickstarter campaign / ita bag campaign and it has exceeded beyond my expectations and I am so so grateful for you guys supporting this project. Now that the campaign is over, you might be wondering what's next! Here's a brief explanation on what to expect from now: 

Payment

Kickstarter will start charging your cards that were used to pledge this week. If your card is declined then you will have 7 days to fix the payment, or else kickstarter will drop your pledge. I cannot add you back to your pledge once it's dropped so please keep this mind. Common decline reasons are insufficient balance / decline by bank (you would have to call you bank for this) / incorrect billing address and card number. Reminder that you will be charged for only your pledge & add-ons this week, but you will be asked to pay for shipping fees and any additional add-on selections you make during the survey at the end of the BackerKit Survey in two weeks.

BackerKit Surveys

Once most payments are all collected in the next two weeks, I will be sending out surveys to you via Backerkit. You are REQUIRED to fill out these surveys. I will be using BackerKit to collect shipping fees and surveys to collect address and for you to choose the following: bag color (white or black), ship covers (all 12 covers are unlocked so you can choose from any of them) and color inserts (white / black / pink / baby blue) you would like. You can also make additional add-on purchases if you'd like during the survey. Surveys will be sent to emails you have connected with your Kickstarter account. Backers who signed in/paid with AppleID, please DM me with an alternative email address or you may not receive your survey. 

You will be paying shipping fees at the end of the survey. At the end of the survey you will be asked to pay for shipping fees and any add-ons that you decided to purchase. I'll have a few additional items available as add-ons that I haven't put up on the Kickstarter itself (example: handbag style strap / sunny shaker charm). Backerkit can be confusing to first time users (I am a first time user myself haha), so I will try to make a detailed post on how this survey works once the surveys are sent out. I will have a deadline set as well so you can know when to fill the surveys by.

Preorder Store

I will be opening a preorder store for a few weeks after I send out all of the Backerkit surveys for those who have missed the campaign and would like to make a preorder. 

Shipping 

Here is an estimate on how much shipping estimated would be for your shipment. Please note that prices / shipping time are SUBJECT TO CHANGE, and they are rough estimates. SHIPPING IS CHARGED SEPARATELY FROM THE BAG. YOU WILL BE CHARGED ADDITIONALLY FOR SHIPPING ON TOP OF PLEDGING THE BAG. For certain countries, there may be additional shipping / tax costs. 

I will be collecting shipping fees & additional add-on costs at the end of the survey so that there are no issues of card decline later when I try to charge shipping to you all, and can work on shipping bags as soon as they arrive. As the timeline indicated, bags will be shipped around 2024 April (Pin only backers will get their rewards around 2023 December). 

For international backers (non-US): You will be responsible for any customs / VAT charged that may incur. If the package was not accepted and returned to me I can refund you the costs minus shipping.

Timeline

Here's a brief recap on the timeline:

October 23 9AM EST: Campaign Ends
Early November: Backer Surveys sent out / Production begins (once production begins, there will be no cancellations / refunds allowed under any circumstance as the funds are being used for production)
Mid/End- March 2024: Production finishes, products received
April 2024: Backer rewards are shipped out
May 2024: Delays may occur, backers will receive their rewards as late as May.

This is a rough estimate timeline and there may be changes / delays depending on number of backers, factory situations, etc. Enamel pins will take less time to produce than the bags. Backers who only backed for pins may receive their package earlier.

Black Ita Bag Sample pics + Handbag strap style pictures + 4 new cover rough samples

Hi everyone!! Here to update a few sample pictures that I got from my manu. The black bag sample was made and it looks super classy and I love it! It's basically the same structure as the white bag but black version haha. Below is some sample pictures that I received from my manu C: 

A lot of you requested that you wanted to wear the bag as a handbag style, so I inquired and here we are (image below)! It will be another clasp style format but shorter version so you can rock the handbag style as well as the other 3 styles of wearing (over-the-shoulder / crossbody / backpack). 

and lastly.. some roughly printed samples of the new 4 colors! the picture is a bit foggy, and I will send more pictures of my manu having them attached to an actual bag soon but this is what it looks like so far (picture below)!
